Estimates & Payments
- Estimates are valid for 14 days from the date issued.
- Payment can be made securely via EFT or other approved methods.
- All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include transparent, upfront costs.
- Final digital files are shared once payment is complete.
Service Process & Care
- Standard turnaround is approximately 7 business days from collection.
- For larger or specialised projects, we’ll provide an estimated timeline upfront.
- Free collection and delivery are included for orders of 500+ items within Cape Town, including Sea Point and City Centre. Customers with smaller orders are welcome to drop off and collect their items from our Sea Point location.
- Areas outside our standard service area may include a small transport fee.
- All items are treated with the highest care and securely stored while in our possession.
Digital Files & Access
- Digitised files are delivered via the Momento Gallery, with the option of USB or other agreed methods.
- The Momento Gallery is included with all photo, slide and negative digitisation order, free of charge for 3 months following delivery.
- A USB flash drive is included for orders of 500+ items, and can be purchased for R150 on smaller orders.
- Continued access after 3 months is available for R399. This is optional and not automatically charged.
- Clients are encouraged to download and back up their files for safe keeping.
Copyright & Privacy
- By submitting your content, you confirm that you own or have permission to digitise them.
- Your content remains private — Momento will never share it without your consent.
- We may occasionally request permission to use examples of your scans for marketing purposes. This will always be optional, and nothing will ever be used without your consent.
Promo Code
- Promo codes are valid for a limited time only and must be redeemed within the specified dates of the promotion.
- Only one promo code can be applied per order and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts, promotions, or offers.
- Promo codes apply to the service value only and exclude delivery or additional service charges.
- To redeem, enter the promo code when completing the enquiry form or provide it when confirming your order.
- Promo codes are not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and cannot be applied to previous orders.
- Momento reserves the right to withdraw, amend, or extend a promotion at any time without prior notice.
Gift Cards
- Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Once expired, they cannot be used or extended.
- You can redeem your Gift Card through the enquiry form or by contacting Momento directly. You must provide a valid code for it to be applied.
- Gift Cards cover scanning services only. Delivery and optional add-ons are not included unless stated on the product page.
- Flexible Gift Cards work as a deposit. The final amount is confirmed once the recipient submits their photos.
- Gift Cards cannot be refunded, exchanged for cash, used to buy other Gift Cards, or applied to previous orders.
- If your code is lost, we can help recover it, but proof of purchase may be required.
- By using a Gift Card, you agree to these terms. Momento may update them when needed.
